d80, speedlite & the very first job (not mine actually)

ive got my d80.hohoho....lama betul aku tunggu. spent rm1700 for it (not the same package from the earlier post) on last wednesday and spent another rm720 on nikon speedlite sb600 the next day. rm2.4k in two days. alamatnye kering la aku hujung semester ni. nevermind. haha...

why did i spent that much juz in two days? bcoz i want to join razi and pino to shoot a wedding. yes, it's their very first job and i'm juz tumpang sekaki. not to earn the money (the upah was theirs) but the experience.

the job requires us to shoot for 3 days. the first day was for the nikah ceremony (at a mosque in wangsa maju) and outdoor shoot (at taman tasik titiwangsa). very exhausting. wa x tipu punye. betul2 penat.

2nd day was for the kenduri at bride's house. i didn't join razi and pino that day bcoz i had to participate in a taekwondo tournament. got runner-up. ok jugak la kan. huhu...

after having sakit2 badan from the tournament, i got to shoot for the 3rd day which was the kenduri and bersanding at the grooms house. but i shot only 26 photos. nothing much to shoot. the canopy was so crowded and there were already razi and pino doing the job. so the foods were for me to eat. i enjoyed the meal then. haha...

so what did i get from the first wedding shoot experience?

lots of crapy photos of course. defenitely need to learn much more. nevertheless, i'm still glad to get to experience the wedding shoot job. will do better next time. thanks razi and pino for the opportunity and all the best for your many offers to come.
