Photographer untuk project Hanis Zalikha

Anda tahu siapa Hanis Zalikha? Tak tahu? Takkan tak tahu kot. Dia tu blogger famous kat Malaysia nih. Pernah satu masa (a few months back tak silap aku) sibuk orang bercakap pasal Hanis ni kalahkan Datuk Siti Nurhaliza dalam ranking carian Google terbanyak. Maknanya, lebih banyak orang duk cari pasal dia kat Google berbanding pasal Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. So, kalau Datuk Siti nak naikkan ranking dia, dia kena bagi Datuk K pasang Hanis jadi madu dia. Baru la sama-sama naik. Haha. Tapi takkan la Hanis berminat dengan suami orang kot. Datuk K pulak tu. Kalau sultan Brunei takpe la jugak. Hensem. Jangan salah faham. Aku bukan gay. Huhu~ =p

Baik. Jangan melalut. Berbalik kepada topik asal. Aku duk baca blog Hanis ni tadi. Dia tengah cari kot la ada mana-mana event photograper yang perlukan publisiti atau nak dipromotekan atau featured kat blog dia, boleh la join project dia yang akan datang. Ye la kan, berkerja dalam project orang yang ada nama, sikit sebanyak boleh buka lebih banyak peluang kepada project yang akan datang. Kot la ada orang berminat dengan hasil kerja korang. Murah rezeki, dapat project baru. Ye dok? ;)

Salam. Ni ada satu event berkaitan photography & camera. So bagi shutterbug & gearhead, kalau free pada tarikh hari kejadian, boleh la jenguk-jenguk event ni.

Bagi yang ada masa terluang sikit dan nak tambah ilmu fotografi, boleh la join workshop yang dianjurkan secara PERCUMA. Saje shout sikit percuma tu. Sebab orang kite memang suke benda-benda free ni....aku pun same. Huhu~ =p

Dan bagi sesiapa yang berminat nak join photo contest, jangan risau, sebab ada photo contest dianjurkan. Hadiah nye pun tak kurang gak menarik ;)

sony world photography award global tour 2009/2010

aku rasa mesti ramai yang dah tau benda ni. tapi saja la aku nak share. kot la ada yang belum tau.

sekarang tengah berlangsung pameran fotografi kat galeri petronas KLCC. kalau korang pergi jalan-jalan kat KLCC ke, sementara tunggu wayang start tu, pergi la tengok-tengok gambar-gambar pemenang Sony World Photography Awards 2009 kat situ. galeri petronas berada kat tingkat tiga.

aku tak dapat nak share gambar sebab kalau masuk situ, korang tak dibenarkan tangkap gambar (stantard macam pergi muzium la kan). tapi time aku pergi situ, ada dua orang malaun (budak matrik kot, dalam 18-20 tahun) dengan selamba je tangkap gamba guna dslr canon dia. dah la guna built in flash siap. haram tak lawa gamba tu jadinya kang. huhu~

aku boleh kata gambar-gambar yang dipamerkan tu lawa-lawa belaka. yang paling aku suke ialah gambar yang menang untuk kategori fashion professional. tak silap aku tajuk gambar tu "the crow princess". korang pergi la tengok sendiri ye.

kuala lumpur photography festival

this is the first KLPF for me. i could not make it last year as i have another plan. so for this first time, i'm not going to be juz another visitor; i'm one of the volunteers at those booths. actually i was volunteering to be at the photomalaysia.com's (photomalaysia.com = PM) booth. that is the photography forum which i'm active the most. to my luck was a free PM t-shirt for the volunteers sponsored by khoking from shashinki...thanks boss=)....




it was a great feeling to be allowed to enter the exhibition hall before the visitors (as i was one of the committees lah)....hehe....but to be at the booth from 11am-9pm was not the best thing to do. luckily, the PM's booth was located at the corner of the exhibition hall, just at the entrance of the seminar room where all the free seminars were held. i had my time on two sessions of seminar; "my greek holiday" by azul adnan and "capturing memories of event" by sidney something (i dont remember lah...).

i was also lucky that our booth was near to a couple of booths that proveide model to be shot. well....of course i shoot them. pretty girls maaa....who dont want to shoot? hehe=p

she was not a model but very cute lah...hohoho (tumbuh tanduk)

i also get to try out the nikon D3x attached with nikkor 400mm f2.8. really huge and the performance is superb. the autofocus is really fast. the moment i shoot with them, "fuiyooo!" came out from my mouth. haha....so jakun lah...but what to do? first time maa...

it was a good thing to be a volunteer as i get to know more people especially the ones from PM. all these while i only know the during online. now i had the chance to meet them personally, chat with them and shake their hands. i was very happy. really.

im planning to be a volunteer again next year. but the next main event for PM is the PM photo exhibition. i'm looking forward to it=)

anybody watched last night's wimbledon gentlemen single final match? i only manage to watch until the end of the 3rd set and then....kroh...kroh...

i woke up at 4am and it was already over...dem betul!....

this morning i turned on the TV to watch omnisport on channel 811 but there was no omnisport because there was CONCACAF gold cup live match...hampeh...tepakse la aku surf tenet...

congrats to roger federer....i'm sure all of his fans have been waiting for 'the return of the king'... ( quoting the title of the 3rd part of the lord of the rings movie....huhu...)

why 'the king'? well....i think that is one of his nickname other than 'fedex' and 'the swiss maestro'....so....hail the king!...hehe...

as for andy roddick, it was a brilliant play. credit to him. he deserves it. but unfortunately he is playing in the era of roger. now federer leads head-to-head record by 19-2. but i think this will be the turning point to andy's career...gudluck andy=)

this was the first time i'd ever join PM's outing. 54 members joined, beat the previous record of 47 members. i'm proud to be part of it. looking forward to join the next one. hehe=)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Open to all student and staff of IIUM except the members of the organizing committee of DigiteX’09.
2. Participant may use digital or analog cameras.
3. Each photograph must be submitted with one entry form and RM2.00 entrance fee. The form can be obtained from the mentioned organizing committees below.
4. Entries are to be submitted in the form of color or monochrome prints. The minimum size will be 8” x 12” (8R).
5. Each entry must be enclosed with the negative for analog camera or softcopy (file size not less than 2mb) for digital camera.
6. Participants can send in as many entries as they wish. However, a participant can only win one (1) prize.
7. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through third parties.
8. No digital super imposition/composition is allowed. Minor image touch-up is allowed and these include adjustment of brightness of colour and softening or sharpening of the image.
9. Entries will be judged on the basis of artistic merit, originality, content and the appropriateness of the caption to the theme of the image.
10. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic contest. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. 11. Copyright of all images submitted for this competition shall remain with the respective participants. ENGINIUS shall be allowed to keep, exhibit and make copies of all photographs without prior consent or payment to participant.
12. An esteemed panel of judges will determine the winners. The decision of the judges is final and no queries on the result will be entertained.
13. The organizing committee reserves the right to substitute the prizes with appropriate value.
14. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend, delete or add to the above Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
