it's the time to use the reminder and planner

i remember my old days (xde la dahulu kala sgt) in MCIIUM where i had been busy with so many programs. i am the president of MCIIUM taekwondo club and an FRC member then. lack in management skills caused me to forget some of the jobs which i had to do. then one of my committee members, a girl to be exact, told me in a very lemah-lembut way...(jgn mimpi la...kena marah kot...huhu),

"ape guna reminder kat henfon ko tu?".

then i thought, "betul gak yek".

and just after that i started to use the reminder.huhu

4 years had passed since those busy days and lately i found myself depends on this tool again. plus a new one, a planner which i had bought at koperasi uiam. why?am i that busy nowadays? frankly....no. but that day will come.

firstly because i'm doing my FYP this semester. so i need them to remind me for my appointment with my supervisor.

secondly, i've just got a potential customer for my wedding photographer service. thus they are essential for me. i had to entertain the customer since they say that 'customer is always right'. if they want to meet me at a particular place and time, so i have to be there at the promised time. and these tools will help me so that i will not forget....hopefully...

another usage, to remind me about any event, photo shoot outing, meeting someone to buy photography equipments and so on.

i hope everything will go well this semester. my studies, projects, hobbies, business,...bla...bla...bla...

Police Open Fire - Shoot Husband Trying to Protect Her

Story Highlights

Stabbed to death by a man convicted of insulting Islam -Muslim women killed in courtroom while testifying against German manMan convicted of calling Sherbini a "terrorist," "bitch" and "Islamist"Many shout hostile slogans against Germans during her funeralMarwa Sherbini, 31, was stabbed to death by Alex W, who, even though the entire court witnessed the whole thing - is only held on suspicion of murder.
Ms Sherbini had sued her killer after he called her a "terrorist" because of her headscarf. German prosecutors have said the 28-year-old attacker, identified only as Alex W, was driven by a deep hatred of foreigners and Muslims.
Local Muslims are saying, "Now see who are the real terrorists"
Marwa Sherbini brought a judicial complaint against her German neighbor who had harassed her for calling her a terrorist. Why? Because of her hijab. She won her case, but the German man appealed the case. As she was preparing to testify in the appeal, the German attacked her with a knife ...in the court, stabbing her 18 times and killing her. Her husband, who is doing a post-doc at the Max Planck Institute, attempted to intervene, and was stabbed by the attacker and shot by the security guard (who of course assumed that he was the aggressor). The husband is in the hospital in critical condition. The victim herself was a highly-educated professional (a pharmacist with post-graduate training, I believe, but was having trouble obtaining employment in Germany at least in part because she refused to take off her hijab). While it has been a non-event in Germany, it has provoked an emotional response in Egypt, where she has been adopted as a national hero – a street has now been named after her in Alexandria.
Police opened fire on Alex W. who had stabbed her 18 times and was then attacking her husband, Elwi Okaz - Gun fire hit Okaz while he was trying to save his wife now he is hospitalized in critical condition..

The case has attracted much attention in Egypt and the Muslim world.
'Sherbini Being Call a Martyr'
Medics were unable to save Ms Sherbini who was three months pregnant with her second child. Her three-year-old son was with the family in court when she was killed.
Alex W and Ms Sherbini and family were in court for his appeal against a fine of 750 euros ($1,050) for insulting her in 2008, because she was wearing the Muslim hijab (Muslim covering similar to Catholic nuns).
Newspapers in Egypt have expressed outrage at the case, asking how it was allowed to happen and dubbing Ms Sherbini "the martyr of the Hijab".
Senior Egyptian officials and German diplomatic staff attended the funeral in Alexandria along with hundreds of mourners.

How many minutes does it take to make 18 stabs??? And afterwards the attacker had time to stab the husband... And was the court security guards doing during those times???

the return of the king

anybody watched last night's wimbledon gentlemen single final match? i only manage to watch until the end of the 3rd set and then....kroh...kroh...

i woke up at 4am and it was already over...dem betul!....

this morning i turned on the TV to watch omnisport on channel 811 but there was no omnisport because there was CONCACAF gold cup live match...hampeh...tepakse la aku surf tenet...

congrats to roger federer....i'm sure all of his fans have been waiting for 'the return of the king'... ( quoting the title of the 3rd part of the lord of the rings movie....huhu...)

why 'the king'? well....i think that is one of his nickname other than 'fedex' and 'the swiss maestro'....so....hail the king!...hehe...

as for andy roddick, it was a brilliant play. credit to him. he deserves it. but unfortunately he is playing in the era of roger. now federer leads head-to-head record by 19-2. but i think this will be the turning point to andy's career...gudluck andy=)

here are some quotes regarding the match (including the ones from the last year final)

1) “Write what you want,” he had said at the time, his eyes red and stinging with despair.

2) “Losing in Paris was nothing. This (lost in 2008 wimbledon final to nadal) is a disaster,”

3)When Roddick was asked if he struggled to stay positive after losing the second set, he replied: “You know, at that point, like everything else, there's two options: you lay down or you keep going. The second option sounded better to me."

4)“I used to get nervous when a friend would come watch me play as a kid, and then it was my parents, and then it was legends and people I really ‑‑ who meant something. Today it's okay. Today anybody can come and watch me play. I don't get nervous anymore. Today with Pete it was a bit special, you know. When he walked in and I saw him for the first time, I did get more nervous actually.” The ice-cool Roger Federer proves that he is just as human as the rest of us.

5)"Liberate this man. Well done, Andy." A sympathetic journalist fights for freedom in the press conference.

p/s: looking forward to US open in august. 'the king' will be hunting for his 6th straight US open titles at the flushing meadows...
